All information that can be attributed to a single person constitutes personal data. This information may have been provided to the museum in connection with employment, affiliation as a volunteer, through a professional network or as a collaborative partner. Information may also have been provided in connection with registrations for events and the like, or collected during visits to websites etc.

Security

Gammel Estrup always handles personal data securely and in accordance with applicable legislation. Both when the museum is (most often) the data controller, and if the museum acts as a data processor.

Gammel Estrup ensures that it always uses data processors within the EU who follow the same legislation as us.

Internally in the organisation we ensure a high level of data security. We encrypt or anonymise information to the extent possible and lock away information in paper format in accordance with legislation.
