General Tour
One of the museum’s dedicated guides will lead a tour of the main building and provide a historical overview of Gammel Estrup, its interiors, and the manor’s colorful gallery of characters. Tours last approximately one hour.
Prices – General Guided Tour
Weekdays during opening hours:
Price: DKK 500 + admission (up to 20 people).
English: DKK 750 + admission.
Weekends during opening hours:
Price: DKK 650 + admission (up to 20 people).
English: DKK 975 + admission.
Evening tour:
Price: DKK 2,000 + half admission (up to 20 people).
Expert Tour
One of the museum’s historians will lead the tour.
The tour can also be tailored to a specific theme, such as “The World of the Servants,” “The Manor Garden,” “The Wild Count,” “Clothing and Costumes for the Gentry and Servants,” “Art and Portraits at Gammel Estrup,” “Love at the Manor,” or “The Manor at War.” The museum also offers walks in the manor forest and tours specially designed for people with developmental disabilities. Tours last approximately one hour.
